The New Orleans Pelicans rallied from 14 down in the fourth to edge out the Utah Jazz, 119-111. Anthony Davis had 31 points and nine rebounds to lead the charge for the Pelicans after missing his last game against the Golden State Warriors with a chest contusion.

Ryan Anderson added 28 points and four rebounds off the bench for the Pelicans, who outscored the Jazz's reserves, 52-27. Anderson and Davis combined for 22 of New Orleans' 41 fourth quarter points. Tyreke Evans and Austin Rivers added 19 and 12 points respectively while shooting a combined 13 out of 25 from the field.

Enes Kanter paved the way for the Jazz with 29 points and seven rebounds while shooting an impressive 12 out of 22 from the field. Utah finished the game making 50 percent of its shots but allowed to Pelicans to hit 59.5 percent of their buckets. Kanter scored 10 of his 29 points in the decisive third quarter to give the Jazz a comfortable 11-point lead heading to the final frame.

New Orleans started the fourth quarter sizzling hot, conducting a 12-7 run capped off by Rivers' costless throw to trim the deficit to six, 96-90, with less than nine minutes left in the contest. The Pelicans outscored the Jazz, 29-15, in the next sequences to snatch away the victory from the hands of Utah.

Gordon Hayward added 17 points while Trey Burke and Alec Burks chalked up 16 points for Utah, who is struggling on the road, winning just two out of their 12 games. Burke scored 14 of his 16 points in the first frame to help the Jazz take a six-point lead at the end of the quarter, but he failed to score a single point in the second half.

The Utah Jazz have lost three games in a row, dropping to 6-19, while the New Orleans Pelicans have bounced back from their loss against the Golden State Warriors, improving to 12-12, placing them number eight in the tough Western Conference.
