Goran Dragic had 20 points and eight assists, as the Phoenix Suns pulverized the Charlotte Hornets, 111-106, to nip their six-game losing streak. The Suns came into the action having lost six of their thirteen road games.

Charlotte was off to a great start behind Al Jefferson, who unloaded 18 of his 28 points in the first frame of action to lead the Hornets to a 31-27 lead at the end of the quarter.

The Hornets continued their dominance into the second frame, as they outscored the Suns, 30-27, behind the play of Gary Neal, who exploded for 11 second quarter points to give Charlotte the upper hand heading into the locker room, 61-54.

Phoenix rekindled early in the third, conducting an 11-6 run to stay within arm's reach, trailing by a single basket, but the Hornets remained calm and composed, as they stretched their lead to 11 capped off by Walker's basket with 3:11 to play. However, Phoenix managed to stay close at the end of the quarter, trailing by four after outscoring the Hornets, 29-26, in the pivotal third period.

The Suns caught fire early in the fourth, piloting a 10-7 run capped off by Thomas' basket to cut the deficit to one. Isaiah Thomas was red-hot from the field in the final frame, scoring 12 of his 23 in the last quarter to propel the Suns to victory.

Isaiah Thomas pioneered the offense for the Suns with 23 points and three assists, while Gerald Green added 16 points off the bench while making six out of 11 from the field. Phoenix finished the game shooting 52.4 percent from the field, allowing the Hornets to convert just 46 percent of their shots.

Al Jefferson carried the load for the Hornets finishing the action with 28 points and 10 rebounds, while Kemba Walker added 27 points and seven assists to help the charge for the Hornets, who have lost four straight games.
