The Cleveland Cavaliers blew out the Boston Celtics at home, 110-79, led by LeBron James's 27 points on 12 of 23 from the field to go along with three rebounds, five assists, and three steals in 26 minutes. LeBron was really on it tonight. Kyrie Irving put in 18 points on 6 of 10 from the field and dished out five assists in 26 minutes of play as well.

Irving played well after missing two games in a row with a shoulder strain. Kevin Love put up 12 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and gave out three assists. J.R. Smith scored 12 points on 5 of 9 from the field. Tristan Thompson added 10 points on a perfect 4 of 4 from the field and plucked seven rebounds off the bench.

James Jones also chipped in 10 points and buried two threes off the bench. Timofey Mozgov played well with 10 points on 5 of 6 from the field, including six rebounds, three assists, and three blocked shots in 2o minutes. All five Cavs starters finished with double-figures.

Cleveland held the Celtics to only 79 points on 35 percent from the field. The Cavs also scored 110 points on 48.3 percent from the field, and they were a perfect 14 of 14 from the free-throw line. The Cavaliers get back on track with a win at home after losing two in a row. They will have tough road games coming up against the Toronto Raptors, Atlanta Hawks, Dallas Mavericks, and San Antonio Spurs which will be an enormous test for them.

For the Celtics, Brandon Bass led the way with 15 points and five rebounds. Isaiah Thomas added 11 points on 4 of 13 from the field and handed out two assists off the bench. Bass and Thomas were the only Celtics players to score in double-figures. The Celtics were just way off tonight as they shot 35 percent from the field and were 25 percent on 7 of 28 from three-point range. The Celtics only got four fast break points all game.

Boston has had two tough losses last two games against the two hottest teams in the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors. The Celtics are still in the hunt for the playoffs in the East. They are currently two games behind the eighth seeded Brooklyn Nets. They do look to be better after acquiring Isaiah Thomas from the Phoenix Suns in a trade but have some work to do if they want to make the playoffs.
