Since your new to Spartans basketball tell people a little bit about yourself?

I have been playing basketball for about eight years and I went to St. Edwards and played varsity basketball for four years.

Why did you choose to commit to ECC?

I had a friend who came to ECC in the past and she said it was a great place to go to. It is very close to home and cheaper and I was able to play for free.

Who has had the biggest influence on your sports career thus far?

I would have to probably say my dad; he actually didn’t want me to play basketball which is kind of funny. I asked him if I could play in third grade and he said no, I asked again in fourth grade and he said no. Eventually he changed his mind and let me play and he has supported me ever since.

Your thoughts on your first year as a Spartan thus far?

I think we started out really strong, we started the year with nine players (currently only have seven players) and then we just hit a funk and we stopped winning games. I am having fun, really enjoyed my freshman year.

How have you grown as a person and as a player this season?

As a person I now have more friends like Hannah and Jordan. As a player I am definitely more confident now, because in high school my coach wasn’t very confident in me, If I would shoot the ball and missed she would take me out of the game, that’s why I like the coaches here at ECC more because I feel that they trust me more.

Most memorable moment as a Spartan so far?

I would have to say probably going to Florida with the basketball team.

Who was your favorite basketball player growing up as a kid?

Candace Parker, she is a well-rounded person. I remember watching her at Tennessee and I was just in love and I want to go there someday.

What is your major?

Criminal Justice
