The University of Florida has suspended Darious Cummings, Jay-nard Bostwick, and Demarcus Robinson due to team rule violations. Robinson was suspended due to a university sanction that is now reportedly resolved.

All three players will miss just the season opener. The season opener in which the Florida Gators should completely dominate the not so good Idaho Vandals. So the suspension of three guys should not be that big of a deal but it is still not acceptable to break team rules.

The biggest guy, no pun intended, to come from the suspension is Cummings. Cummings is listed as the starting nose tackle for the season opener, but now, of course, he will not start the game. The lone guy suspended due to a university sanction, Robinson, played in seven games last year as a freshman.

Again, these loses should not affect the Gators in their match up with the Vandals. The Gators should handle the team from Idaho with ease and get started on what should be a bounce back season for the team as a whole.
