2:45 PM ET: MaIrk Dantonio coached his 100th game for Michigan State last week. He is now 70-30 in 7 years with the Spartans.

2:36 PM ET: Michigan's tunover differential is a horrid -13, worst mark in the country. The Spartans have already forced 19 turnovers this season, so the turnover-prone Wolverines will need to take caqre of the ball.

2:30 PM ET: Michigan ranks second in the nation in fewest penalty yards per game and third in fewest penalties, so this game likely won't be as dirty as it has been in recent years.

2:28 PM ET: Nearly one hour until gametime between fierce interstate rivals Michigan Wolverines and Michigan State Spartans.

2:26 PM ET: Alright, we're back! Sorry for the two hour delay.

12:32 PM ET: Michigan State has allowed just 4 sacks all season, tied for the best mark in the nation. Michigan will likely have trouble getting to Connor Cook and getting penetration into the backfield.

12:28 PM ET: The Wolverines need to get pressure on Connor Cook and force him to make questionable throws. He tends to make some bad passes at times and should have more than 5 interceptions on the season. Michigan, however, is tied for 86th in the country with 16 sacks on the season.

12:25 PM ET: Spartans quarterback Connor Cook has established himself as one of the better QBs in the country. He is second in the Big Ten in touchdown passes (16) and passing effiency. He also has the nation's 11th leading reciever (786 yards) in Tony Lippet reeling in passes.

12:22 PM ET: Michigan's pass defense has struggled throughout the season. They allowed 402 passing yards and 3 touchdowns against Gary Nova, Rutgers' mediocre starting quarterback. They also have allowed 11 passing touchdowns, 3rd most in the Big Ten.

12:18 PM ET: Michigan State running back Jeremy Langford has ran for 100+ yards in 11 straight conference games. The Spartans, as a team, average 260 rushing yards per game, 4th in the Big Ten and 15th in the nation. However, they'll be tested tonight against Michigan's strong rushing defense. The Wolverines are allowing just 93.6 rushing yards per game, second in the Big Ten.

12:15 PM ET: Michigan State's pass defense has also improved as the season has progressed. They allowed just 11 passing yards last week against Indiana. They also lead the Big Ten with 26 sacks, good for 4th in the nation. Again, however, they allow a few big plays here and there.

12:13 PM ET: Despite their strong rushing defense, Michigan State has been deciptable to the big play. They allowed runs of 75 and 65 yards against Indiana last week.

12:11 PM ET: The Spartans have a strong rushing defense again this season, as they currently stand 8th in the country allowing just 100.8 yards on the ground per game.

12:09 PM ET: Derrick Green was Michigan's starting running back, but with his injury, De'Veon Smith and Justice Hayes will share time at running back.

12:07 PM ET: Michigan will be very shorthanded today with DT Willie Henry (arm), WR Jehu Chesson (undisclosed), OL Erik Magnuson (undisclosed), CB Jabrill Peppers (undisclosed), S Delano Hill (leg), S Jeremy Clark (shoulder), LB Desmond Morgan (arm), TE Khalid Hill (knee), RB Derrick Green (clavicle), WR Drake Harris (hamstring), OL Kyle Bosch (personal), RB Ty Isaac (ineligible) all out.

12:05 PM ET: Michigan State dominated Michigan last season, winning 29-6. Michigan ran for an all-time program low -48 yards.

12:02 PM ET: The Spartans are 6-1 (3-0 in Big Ten play) and ranked as the 8th best team in college football. The Wolverines, on the other hand, are 3-4 (1-2) and currently unranked.
