The wait is finally over and College Football is finally back! Fans for every SEC team around the league are filled with anticipation of what could come from their team in 2015. There is no more "well there's always next year." Next year is here at last and any person living down south can feel the excitement in the air. They can see all the people driving around decked out in their team's gear. The greatest college football conference is about to kick off. Now more than any other year, more teams and fans feel like they have a legitimate chance of winning the SEC and making it to the 4 team playoff. So, with all of that excitement surrounding the start of the season, here are some key points to watch for in week 1.

Jeremy Johnson

Although Jeremy Johnson played some minutes at Auburn in the past, this is the first time that the stage is entirely his. The expectations for him coming into the season are enormous. He is already one of the candidates picked to win the Heisman this year. With all of the lights and cameras on him now, how will Jeremy Johnson perform? Will he meet or exceed the rather unfair expectations that have been thrown upon him? Do not be surprised if Jeremy does not have his best performance this Saturday against Louisville. The Cardinals defense is better than average and the game will be played at a neutral site. Jeremy Johnson will also likely be needed to put up quite a few points because no one knows how Auburn's defense led by their new defensive coordinator Will Muschamp is going to perform.

Alabama's Quarterback Position

Just like last year, Alabama is waiting until the last minute to decide who will start the season at quarterback against Wisconsin. Unlike last year, though, the decision is not between two quarterbacks. The decision being decided between five quarterbacks. While the battle seems to be whittled down to three, everything is still up for grabs. The three who seem to be the front runners for the position are Jake Coker, Alec Morris, and Cooper Bateman. Head coach Nick Saban has talked about wanting to see one of the quarterbacks win the team over. That has not happened. No matter who Saban decides to start at QB, it will definitely be one of the keys to watch for as Alabama starts against a tough Wisconsin team.

Arkansas And Tennessee

Both of these teams start the season with brighter lights shining on them than in years past. Although neither squad has a very difficult opponent to start with in week one, they should give fans a glimpse of what their team is capable of in 2015. For Tennessee, Josh Dobbs along with Jalen Hurd and a deep receiving corp are expected to show a fast pace, high powered offense that could win the East. For Arkansas, their offensive line combined with Bret Bielema's plan for the offense is expected to be competitive and compete for the West in 2015.

So there is no way to predict what is going to happen this season in the SEC. The one thing fans have learned to expect from the rowdy conference is to expect the unexpected. There will be plenty of high powered, hard hitting plays and upsets that rattle CFB nation. Enjoy watching the story tale unfold in the greatest conference on the planet.
