Colin Kaepernick has spent some time in Miami recently, and many believed it was for training, so that Kaepernick could finally get the 49ers over the Super Bowl hump after coming so close the past two seasons. It seems Colin got a little more than he was expecting, and now has the law on his tail.
According to TMZ, Kaepernick is under investigation for sexual assault in a hotel. The incident reportedly occured over the last week.
Kapernick's representatives and his agent have not reached out on the topic at hand, but the 49ers have issued a statement saying thay are aware of the situation, and are in the process of gathering facts on the accusation, which all but confirms the allegations originally issued.
Kaepernick was coming in on a contract season after leading the 49ers deep in the playoffs twice, even losing in the Super Bowl to Baltimore and losing to Seattle in the NFC Championship. If prosecutions go down, Colin Kaepernick can kiss all of that goodbye.
