He also is responsible for bringing head coach Mike McCarthy to Green Bay when he had been the offensive coordinator of the San Francisco 49ers and was not considered a hot head coaching candidate.

Draft and develop is definitely the mainstay of the Green Bay Packers organization, and Ted is the one who holds all the keys. Despite not knowing much about the extension at this time, it is great to be a multi-year extension to keep him around for the future instead of just letting his contract expire after this year.
