The Houston Texans came in to Arizona looking to being a new way of winning, albeit in the preseason. This was a complete wreck of a new beginning. They say an end is a starts disguise. The Texans were not ready to face what they would see from the Arizona Cardinals.

The Cardinals took the ball to start the game. J.J Watt would get a sack on the second play of the game. After that, the Cardinals had their way in every which way. Carson Palmer would lead the charge down the field and would eventually connect with Larry Fitzgerald in the endzone for an easy touchdown over Texans corner back Brandon Harris.

The Texans would go three-and-out and the Cardinals would sit their starters for the rest of the game. Jadeveon Clowney showed why he will be a force to be reckoned with in the future with a five yard TFL. But still Drew Stanton would lead the Cardinals down the field and throw a touchdown pass to Jaron Brown.

The Texans would follow this up with Ryan Fitzpatrick getting lucky to not throw an interception on his first two throws, before finally pulling the trigger on a pick to Antonio Cromarite.

Down 20 nearing the end of the first half, Ryan Fitzpatrick was leading the Texans down the field. On 3rd & 8, Fitzpatrick would throw a second interception into the hands of linebacker Marcus Bernard. Fitzpatrick would finish the first half throwing 6-14 for 55 yards and two interceptions.

Case Keenum would start the second half for the Texans, but the ball failed to move and progress was only hampered by penalties, which the Texans would have 11 yellow pieces of laundry thrown at them. Case Keenum would hold a statline of 3-5 for 21 yards.

Tom Savage would see very scarce time in the game. The only higlight you will see of Tom Savage is him being sacked for a safety with nearly 90 second remaining in the game. Tom would be shaken up on the play and would talk to the doctor. No word yet on his condition.

The safety though would put the Cardinals up 32-0 and they would sit on the ball until time expired.

The Cardinals looked amazingly dominant over the Texans in this game. They will have to be tough this year to compete in the NFC West against Seattle and San Francisco. The Cardinals missed the playoffs last season even though they posted a record of 10-6.

As for the Texans, they continue to not be able to find a win. They haven't won since week 2 of the regular season last season. Including tonight, Houston has lost 15 straight games.

Next week, the Texans will host joint practices with the Falcons before they square off on Saturday in Houston. The Cardinals will trek up north to Minnesota to face off with the Vikings.
