The Jacksonville Jaguars made a total of 4 roster moves today with the moving of TE Marcedes Lewis to Designated IR and waiving OT Cameron Bradfield. They also made two signings to fill up the 53-man roster with 2013 5th round pick WR Tavarres King from Georgia, originally drafted by the Denver Broncos and then spent time with the Carolina Panthers from 2013-2014 on their main roster and the practice squad, and TE Marcel Jensen from Fresno State.

The most intriguing move here was signing Marcel Jensen back into the main roster after spending time with the Jags all the way from the UDFA signing period until the 53-man roster cuts just a couple of weeks ago. Teammates in the locker room often referred Marcel as "mini Marcedes Lewis" with similar body types and style of play on the field.

He had an average preseason showing, but was originally cut to make room for another TE on the current roster, Mickey Shuler , who was with the Falcons before signing with the Jaguars. The Jags would have only had two TEs on the roster with Marcedes Lewis out, but another back-up, TE Clay Harbor, suffered an injury late in training camp (calf) to keep him out for the entire preseason and the first two games of the regular season and he hopes to start practice on Wednesday.
