According to Phoenix sports anchor Tyler Baldwin, Arizona Cardinals running back Jonathan Dwyer has been arrested for domestic violence. This story has yet to be confirmed, but Baldwin says he received his information from a source.

It is unfair to say for sure until more information is released, but this would be just another black eye for the NFL. After the whole Ray Rice domestic dispute mess and Adrian Peterson child abuse charges, the NFL appears to be on thin ice. If it proves to be true, this situation with Dwyer will only make matters worse.

The NFL has a real problem on its hands. After the way that the Peterson and Rice situations were mishandled, along with Ray McDonald and Greg Hardy also being charged in domestic dispute cases, many league sponsors are starting to show big concern. No matter who popular the league is, if sponsors start pulling out because they do not want to be associated with a league full of child and wife beaters, the NFL as we know it could be over.

The NFL and their players have a serious problem. If Dwyer does end up getting charged, expect the league to come down with harsh penalties. They simply cannot go soft after the way these other situations have been handled.
