After yet another middling season in the ever so difficult NFC West, the news has come out of St. Louis that owner Stan Kroenke has teamed up with other land owners to build an NFL Stadium in Hollywood Park, near Los Angeles.

It has been a long time since the NFL has been in Los Angeles, as both the St. Louis Rams and the Oakland Raiders were both there at the same time. Obviously the Rams do not sell out most of their home games. That is a well known fact. It is a stadium where many stronger fan bases can come in and take over the stadium, such as the Packers, Steelers, and Cowboys. But at the same time, St. Louis is in love with the Cardinals, and they only care about the Rams.

It is pretty certain that if an NFL team moves back to Los Angeles, that they would be able to succeed, simply because it is a larger market. Also, they will be much closer to the teams that they will be playing against. One final note is that it should be easier to draw players to come to Los Angeles to play NFL football instead of St. Louis, simply because it is a bigger town with more things to do. Hopefully they get football at some point, but at the same time it is tough to see any town lose their team.

I will not deny that I am a big fan of the Green Bay Packers. But I love the NFL and want to see the very best for it.
