As seen by Mike Florio at Profootballtalk, the Seattle Seahawks appear to have come to an agreement to pay their running back, Marshawn Lynch, more money heading into the 2015 NFL season.

The way the contract is being reported is a $7.5 million signing bonus that has been given this year, with $4.5 million in base salary. The base salary jumps to $9 million in 2016, and then $10 million in 2017, but neither of those final two years are guaranteed, which would hurt the Seahawks less if Marshawn does decide to retire in the next few years.

Since joining the Seahawks in the 2010 NFL off-season, Marshawn Lynch has ran for over 6,000 yards, 54 touchdowns, over 1,200 receiving yards, and 8 receiving touchdowns as well.

There is no doubt that the Seahawks are thrilled to have him for the years to come, as long as he keeps running as aggressively as he has been for the past several years.
