Oakland's pass game is developing, but they can't get a win in the run game on either side of the ball. They need to pull off some big runs to get back in this in the second half.

Seattle has dominated every phase of the game. A deserved lead. The defensive line and run offense have been extra special. One area of concern is the secondary, which is not showing its normal depth tonight.

It's gametime.

Players all out warming up on the field. Gametime in approximately 30 minutes.

An hour til kickoff.

The Seahawks are using their newly-renovated locker rooms tonight at CenturyLink. This game is the fight for players to keep their spot on the team so that they may return to that facility for the start of the season.

Alright, folks. Approximately 90 minutes to gametime.

Stay tuned for all live updates on this matchup. Again, kickoff is at 10:00 pm ET, so stay tuned for all your gameday news and coverage here at VAVEL USA.

This is sure to be an entertaining matchup between two deep teams with very high-upside talent in their second and third teams. Those second and third-string players will probably start taking up the majority of plays midway through the first quarter, as in the final preseason game, starters are expected to run minimal amounts of plays and to rest up for opening games, which start Thursday night, September 10th, at Gilette Stadium for Pittsburgh Steelers - New England Patriots.

On defense, linebacker Malcolm Smith, who won a Super Bowl MVP award with Seattle in 2014, signed with the Raiders this offseason. He'll square off with his former team Thursday unless he is benched. Nate Allen has two interceptions in the preseason for that Raiders D.

2015 first-round pick Amari Cooper has been very productive, racking up 124 yards on 8 catches. He and Carr are apparently still working on some things in terms of chemistry and timing of Cooper's routes.

At running back, Oakland terminated the contract of former-Browns first-rounder Trent Richardson, whose career has declined gradually since his successful rookie year in 2012. Latavius Murray, who has 56 yards and a touchdown through three games, will be the starter this season, and he has lots of upside to become a top-tier rusher.

Franchise QB Derek Carr has not had an ideal output this preseason, only completing 28 of 51 passes for 334 yards, no TDs and two interceptions. All of Oakland's three QBs have been picked off this preseason, but Matt McGloin has been playing pretty well in the backup slot.

Oakland is not on course for great things like the Seahawks for the 2015 season, but they have made strides in growth and rebuilding over the past few seasons that have shown this offseason.

The Seahawks are 1-2 this preseason, which isn't much of an indication of how their season will expectedly play out.

Tight end Jimmy Graham came over from the New Orleans Saints to Seattle as well this offseason, and he has six catches for 75 yards through three games. However, he is expected to do loads of blocking, and has not yet proven he is able to fill the roll of a sixth blocker on the offensive line.

The biggest headline of the Seahawks' preseason has been rookie receiver and return specialist Tyler Lockett. Lockett has had some unreal returns, scoring on one punt return and one kickoff return so far this preseason. He has also caught four passes for 52 yards.

Russell Wilson, now the league's second-highest paid player, is in full form, however is not going to see much play Thursday night, among other starters, due to this being a game in which role players on the second and third teams are given minutes to prove themselves on the field.

Chancellor is one of multiple Seattle defensive backs who are out of play for a number of reasons. Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas have just recently returned from injury, and Jeremy Lane is still out with multiple ailments he suffered on the same play in Super Bowl XLIX.

One appearance Chancellor did make was in a team trip to Hawaii, when he and Russell Wilson led a deep conversation with teammates to let out all frustration from February's disappointing Super Bowl result. The 27 year-old is a big presence off the field as well as on it, and will be deeply missed in the locker room should he continue to abstain from play through regular season games.

However, safety Kam Chancellor, one of the league's best and hardest-hitting, feels like his extension from the 2013 offseason is not paying him enough. Chancellor signed a five-year, $35 million deal in 2013, but now is holding out of training camp and all team activities until he gets a new contract from Seattle, who is running out of cap room.

It's been an offseason surely with no shortage of drama, but the Seahawks look to be set up for another very successful season. They managed to re-sign key players like Marshawn Lynch, while also satisfying Russell Wilson and Bobby Wagner with max contracts.

Alas, the final week of preseason football is upon the sports world. While this may be the least influential week for starters and impact players, it can make or break jobs for the guys on the brink of being cut by September 5th, when teams must cut down to 53 men on their rosters.

Hello all, I'm Zach Drapkin, and welcome to this 2015 VAVEL USA LIVE coverage of the NFL Preseason Week 4 matchup between the Oakland Raiders and Seattle Seahawks. Kickoff is Thursday night, September 3rd, at 10:00 pm EST at Seattle's CenturyLink Field, Home of the 12s and the Seahawks and Sounders.
