T-4. Ryan Getzlaf, Anaheim Ducks: (Josh-3rd, Max-6th)

Josh says, “Getzlaf is a poor man’s Toews. He is very underrated on the offensive end and plays a good defensive game as well. With Corey Perry on his line, he has turned Perry into one of the premiere wingers in the league. Getzlaf has a career high 66 assists and 31 goals. He doesn’t get the attention he deserves because he plays in a non-traditional hockey market on the west coast.”

Max says, “Ryan Getzlaf is the captain of the Anaheim Ducks, who are sitting atop the Western Conference standings with a record of 18-6-5 this season. Last season, Ryan Getzlaf scored 31 goals and 56 assists. He came in 2nd in the voting for the Hart and 10th in voting for the Selke trophy as well as being named an All Star. The Ducks made it to the second round before losing to the eventual Stanley Cup champion Kings in seven games.”

T-4. Sidney Crosby, Pittsburgh Penguins: (Josh-2nd, Max-7th)

Josh says, “Crosby is the ultimate offensive weapon when he is healthy. He has had five 100 point seasons and has won two MVP awards. He can score himself, with a career high of 51 goals and has led the league in points two times, in 2007 and 2014. He just has a great nose of the puck and for the net. An absolutely great player to watch.”

Max says, “Sidney Crosby is one of the best players in the NHL, however I think he is overrated that is why he is at number #7 on my list. Sidney Crosby is overrated in my mind since he won the Stanley Cup in 2009.”
