Jordan Taylor of Wayne Taylor Racing has put the No. 10 Corvette Daytona Prototype on pole position for a second consecutive race in California. His lap of 1:18.718 was good enough for P1 as qualifying came to a close on the 2.238-mile course.

"It's good to start out front, but we'll be the first to hit the lapped traffic," Jordan Taylor said

Starting in second just behind the Taylor brothers in the No. 10 will be the Ford EcoBoost Riley DP of Chip Ganassi Racing driven by Scott Pruett and Joey Hand; they were 0.222 seconds behind the No. 10 Corvette.

The No. 25 BMW Z4 driven by Bill Auberlen and Dirk Werner finished qualifying atop the GTLM class; they also won from pole on the streets of Long Beach like Jordan and Ricky Taylor.

Patrick Lindsey put the No. 73 Park Place Porsche 911 GT America car at the front of the GTD field. He will start from the pole and go for the win with co-driver Spencer Pumpelly in Sunday's 2 hour and 40 minute race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
