FIA WEC LM24: Porsche No. 19 Wins 24 Hours of Le Mans

Nico Hulkenburg drove the final hour and a half of the race in the No. 19 Porsche 919 Hybrid and kept the car at the front to win Porsche's first LM24 since 1998.

All 24 hours have been completed and it has been decided: Porsche have won for their 17th time at Le Mans. 

Nico Hulkenburg, Nick Tandy, and Earl Bamber completed an impressive performance throughout the day-long race to earn Porsche their first Le Mans 24 Hours win since 1998. 

The No. 19 was able to avoid the variety of struggles and downfalls that struck its competitors as a variety of strategies also kept certain cars in unique contention for a victory across all four classes as the hours ticked away. 

The truly flawless performance of Hulkenburg, Tandy, and Bamber saw them lead a 1-2-3 finish for Porsche, defeating their rival in Audi for just the third time in 16 years.
