WC Visions, parent company to Pirelli World Challenge, will donate $5,000 as well as any fines from this weekend at Sonoma Raceway to the children of Justin Wilson via the Wilson Children's Fund.

Wilson, the well-liked, talented British driver, was fatally injured earlier this week in an accident at the 500-mile Verizon IndyCar Series event at Pocono Raceway last Sunday. He is survived by his wife Julia, daughters Jane and Jessica and younger brother Stefan.

Justin’s loss has left a huge void in all of the motorsports industry,” said Scott Bove, president and CEO of WC Vision. “He was a professional on and off the track and one of racing’s greatest ambassadors. We, at the Pirelli World Challenge, hope to assist the Wilson family with this donation and continue thinking of Justin’s legacy in the future.”

After the Long Beach round in April, the series distributed in excess of $40,000 in race fines to the Road Racing Drivers Club Safe is Fast campaign, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, the SCCA Foundation and Project Peanut Butter.
