Four hours into the season-ending Petit Le Mans, the GT Daytona class' Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup has been clinched.


Riley Motorsports wins GTD NAEC title

Riley Motorsports clinched the North American Endurance Cup for the GTD class at the first of three instances of the race where points will be awarded toward it.

Marc GoossensCameron Lawrence and Al Carter are NAEC drivers' title winners as a result.

Prototype

The No. 5 Action Express Racing Corvette DP, driven currently by Sebastien Bourdais, leads comfortably over the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing car of Jordan Taylor. Action Express' second car, the No. 31, led the race until making a pit stop for service and a driver change, with Dane Cameron stepping out and Eric Curran climbing in.

Prototype Challenge

With a healthy lead of a full lap in the PC category is the No. 52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports ORECA FLM09, currently being driven by Andrew Palmer.

GT Le Mans

The pair of C7.Rs of Corvette Racing have spent some time trading the GTLM class lead, but the No. 911 Porsche 911 RSR of Porsche North America, currently driven by Patrick Pilet, is leading them both with a gap of about 30 seconds.

Running second behind the leading Porsche of Pilet is Oliver Gavin of the No. 4, followed by Antonio Garcia at the controls of the No. 3.

GT Daytona

Andy Lally currently leads Spencer Pumpelly by a gap of about 15 seconds. These two, running 16th and 17th overall in the race, lead Leh Keen who is third in class.
