Chicago Fire:

Questionable: (M) David Accam remains questionable for the upcoming match vs. Vancouver Whitecaps, (DNP) in the 2-0 defeat to the LA Galaxy in the MLS opener and missed training Tuesday with a groin strain. (M) Razvan Crocis (DNP, plantar fasciitis), also questionable for the upcoming match.

(M) Alex DNP against LA Galaxy with an apparent ankle injury, causing the Chicago Fire to lose attacking flair in midfield. (D) Adailton (DNP, concussion) was also not present, cutting his recent transfer to the club short of the first league game that never saw Chicago Fire really disturb the MLS Champions Galaxy.

OUT: (F) Mike Magee (hip surgery 9/9/14, 6-8 months), (M) Patrick Nyarko (torn ACL and sprained MCL 10/18/14, 6-8 months)

Colorado Rapids:

OUT:  (D) Drew Moor (torn ACL and lateral meniscus 8/18/14), (M) Charles Eloundou (fitness) full training just began for Eloundou, after resolved Cameroon visa issues. Their 0-0 draw to the Philadelphia Union displays the need.

Columbus Crew:

OUT: (M) Romain Gall (DNP, knee injury) in tight 1-0 loss to Houston Dynamo in which Columbus lacked the difference making goal.

DC United:

OUT: Markus Halsti (left knee injury), Luis Silva (right hamstring injury), Eddie Johnson (heart condition), Michael Seaton (left knee surgery 1/22, out 6-8 weeks). DC United pulled through a 1-0 win against the weakened Montreal Impact, in which the likes of US international Eddie Johnson was not present to provide goal scoring. Otherwise, the superb performance was enough for a Bill Hamid clean sheet.

FC Dallas:

OUT: Coy Craft (left shoulder surgery), Stephen Keel (right foot surgery). San Jose Earthquakes found no chance to counter Blas Perez's goal, proving that FC Dallas are still very much of an attacking threat this season in their solid 4-1-3-2 formation..

Montreal Impact:

OUT: (M) Andres Romero (quad injury), (D) Adrian Lopez (knee injury), (M) Justin Mapp (dislocated elbow). Justin Mapp and the Montreal Impact attacked along the right side of the pitch through their 1-0 loss to DC United. However, the 82' minute saw Mapp horribly dislocate his elbow falling over (GK) Bill Hamid when attempting a shot on goal. A goal could have been a difference maker for Montreal Impact, who loses a key player to their starting 11.

New England Revolution:

Questionable: (M) Lee Nguyen (DNP, right groin irritation)

OUT: (M) Jermaine Jones (hernia surgery 2/10, out 4-6 weeks), Teal Bunbury (right shoulder injury) Donnie Smith (left groin surgery). It was no question that the Revolution were out talented as arguably one of the best teams in the league, the Seattle Sounders,  thrashed them 3-0 without three key players like Lee Nguyen, Jermaine Jones, and Teal Bunbury. New England is still fan favorite to win the Eastern Conference, in which they will need all three men to be in top form.

New York City FC:

Questionable: (GK) Ryan Meara (left knee meniscectomy). (GK) Josh Saunders was a hit literally after smashing his head on the post in the 1-1 draw with Orlando City SC. He stayed in the game with the medical trainers stating he did not have a concussion, even with his head wound opening with blood after a diving attempt to save a shot on goal that resulted in a slide challenge to the chest area.

New York Red Bulls:

Questionable: (D) Ronald Zubar (slight hamstring injury). Zubar being the new defensive leader with Colombian Jamison Olave not present anymore was cut short in the 77' minute when a past hamstring injury scare saw him subbed off in their 1-1 draw to Sporting Kansas City.

Orlando City SC:

OUT: (GK) Tally Hall (torn ACL 9/2/14, out 4-6 months), (F) Martin Paterson groin strain). In a 1-1 draw to NYCFC that drew in a lot of potential for Orlando City, Tally Hall was replaced by experienced (GK) Donovan Ricketts who held his part in goal even with Mix Diskerud breaking the deadlock. The attack lacked shots on goal with off sides being called frequently on the home side.

Philadelphia Union:

OUT: (GK) Andre Blake (left knee surgery 2/23, out 4-6 weeks), M Danny Cruz (DNP, hamstring.) 2014 no.1 MLS SuperDraft pick Blake will have to wait before his official second league start in goal. Danny Cruz, although not a big part of the squad in 2014 as 2013, could not help his squad get past the Colorado Rapids.

Portland Timbers:

OUT :( M) Will Johnson (broken leg 9/27/14, 6 months), (M) Diego Valeri (torn ACL 10/28/14, 5 months), (M) Ben Zemanski (torn ACL 2/22, 5 months), Diego Chara (calf contusion 2/22, DNP 3/7). Believe it is safe to say that the heart and soul players of the squad are missing for the Timbers in Will Johnson and Diego Valeri. Diego Valeri, their supreme man in the middle, could have boasted a goal out of the Timbers side that could not get past the 0-0 draw against Real Salt Lake.

Real Salt Lake:

Questionable: (D) Demar Phillips (right hamstring, DNP 3/7), (M) Pecka (hip flexor).

OUT: (F) Joao Plata - (fractured fifth metatarsal 1/26, 3-4 months), (M) John Stertzer (broken toe), (D) Justen Glad (right knee). Like the Portland Timbers, Chicago Fire, and San Jose Earthquakes, Real Salt Lake is dealing with more injuries than they would want. Joao Plata is a definite top five striker combination when paired with teammate Saborio up top, which no team would want to lose. Unfortunately, Real Salt Lake could not get past the draw against the Portland Timbers.

San Jose Earthquakes:

Questionable:(D) Clarence Goodson (left foot sprain, DNP 3/7)

OUT: (F) Mark Sherrod (left knee arthroscopy 2/27, out 3-6 weeks),   Steven Lenhart (right knee arthroscopy), (D) Jordan Stewart (right calf strain). The San Jose Earthquakes are deeply looking into reaching the playoffs again behind their new stadium and Chris Wondolowski, meaning they really would want to be injury free to use their full potential in hoping to reach that sixth spot in a competitive Western Conference. The constant fouls they committed allowed FC Dallas to eventually capitalize in their 1-0 loss.

Seattle Sounders FC:

OUT: (M) Osvaldo Alonso (right groin 2/7, 6-8 weeks). Even though the Seattle Sounders are not far from favorites to top the Western Conference, there is no doubt that the veteran Cuban midfielder Osvaldo Alonso would make the team even stronger again in his defensive role in front of the defense.

Sporting Kansas City:

OUT: (D) Chance Myers (ruptured Achilles tendon 5/25/14, expected return: 6/1). Even though Sporting Kansas City remain a serious contender for MLS Cup, with Aurelien Collin now playing defense for Orlando City, it makes the significance of Chance Myers being fit that much for important in securing a playoff spot and making a run.

Vancouver Whitecaps:

OUT:(M) Andre Lewis (right ACL sprain). Although the Vancouver Whitecaps have been suggested as a dark-horse in the Western Conference this season, it was no use to say that Toronto FC were the better side in their 3-1 loss. Although defending was a major issue against Toronto, Andre Lewis and other midfielders need to commit to defensive roles if they do not want to repeat the same thing again against a limited Chicago Fire in the upcoming week.

(Houston Dynamo, LA Galaxy, and Toronto FC not listed.)
