Seattle Sounders have added a new piece to their already more-than-solid roster. Brazilian midfielder Thomás Jaguaribe Bedinelli of the Brazilian club Flamengo has been acquired via loan by Seattle, a somewhat minor move by manager Sigi Schmid. A tweet with an image of Thomás doing business with the Sounders front office was promptly deleted, hinting that the club was in negotiations.

Nothing is final yet, as the sides are still discussing terms. There is no expected official announcement anytime soon due to this pending acquisition.

Thomàs is a 22-year old forward who can play both on the wings and as an underneath, advanced striker. There is no telling yet whether he can be an effective player in Major League Soccer. Sounders used up one of theit two remaining roster spots on Jaguaribe Bedinelli, and also their last international roster spot. Now Seattle only have room for one more player on their squad roster.

Thomàs tweeted out a goodbye and thank you to the last club he was on loan at, AAPP of Brazil's second division.

Schmid may end up sending the youth striker to Sounders 2 to start his term in Seattle, as the Sounders are in no need of a forward on their squad right now and will let Thomàs develop.
