The Lucha Underground returned this week with its fourth episode. While it did not compare to the very entertaining episode from last week at least it progressed the development of its roster by giving fans their first look at the power and destruction of Big Ryck. He faced Johnny Mundo in the main event match. The night also featured the return of two of the luchadores from last weeks finale: Fenix and Pentagon Jr. They looked to continue their highflying antics and propel Lucha Underground even further.

The night started with the return of Sexy Star who vowed to take out the Guerrero name to exact her revenge. Not wanting to hear anything from her, Ivelisse came out to get the match started and prove to us all she is the toughest women in Lucha Underground. After a very technical and impressive display by both ladies Sexy Star was able to secure the victory. Soon after we got another look at Drago with a backstage promo showcasing the bizarre creature before his later match.

Fenix and Pentagon Jr. put on one hell of a performance last week with triple threat match including Drago but this time they would go at it alone. Highflying and powerful in every way; the match proved to be as exciting as we have come to expect from this promotion. Matches like this gives us an idea of how good the future could be. Fenix is quickly becoming a fan favorite. Fenix ends up victorious, as he seems to be the luchador that could give Mundo and Puma the most problems.

The second half of the show featured the always entertaining Drago who was able to defeat a less than impressive King Cuerno. There were moments where he shined but he just did not seem to move with the fluidity of the other wrestlers. He is presented with a more primal style than the others so that could be why. Maybe seeing him dismantle some one inferior will showcase what he can do. Anyone seen Son of Havoc? The main event was between Big Ryck and Johnny Mundo. Mundo is still one of the best talents in the business so we all know what he was capable of. So all eyes would be on Big Ryck.

The power that was displayed was pretty impressive but the technical skills as assumed were just not there. After Mundo toyed with Ryck for a while the rest of the goon squad came out to make an example of him. There was a backstage vignette of Prince Puma being attacked by Cisco and his partner so there would be no interference for the carnage in the cage. The night ended with Johnny Mundo looking up at the lights smashed through a table. Not too much else really to see. These guys mean business and the Lucha Underground fan base continue to grow.
