INCIDENTS: Premier League match between Chelsea and Manchester United, held at Stamford Bridge.

That brings to an end to today's live commentary between Chelsea and Manchester United from Stamford bridge. I have been Brandon Sayer and until next time have a good evening!

Well United were finally put out of their misery on a day that is very damaging to the spirits of the squad. Hazard and Kante scored in the second half to add to the first half goals from Pedro and Cahill. Mourinho won't forget his comeback to Stamford Bridge any time soon as his tactics got exposed on the day.

FT Chelsea 4-0 Manchester United.

90+3' - Rojo forces Courtois into making a fantastic save from outside the box.

90' - The referee has decided to add on three minutes at the end of the second half.

81' - Ibrahimovic forces Courtois into making a very good save. United can't even score a consolation goal.

78' - Double substitution for Chelsea: Costa and Hazard are replaced by Willian and Batshuayi.

75' - Pogba receives a yellow card for a late tackle on Matic.

71' - Chelsea substitution: Pedro is replaced by Chalobah.

70' - Goal for Chelsea! Kante makes it four on the day for Chelsea. Kante basically wondered his way through the United defence and confidently placed the ball past De Gea. Very chasing day for United and Mourinho.

66' - Marcos Alonso receives a yellow card for a pulling back Pogba.

65' - Manchester United substitution: Lingard is replaced by Anthony Martial.

62' - Goal for Chelsea! Hazard puts the game to bed. A brilliant one two plays Hazard in and the winger confidently curled the ball home past De Gea. United were all over the place once again. Very poor again.

58' - Lingard let rip with a fantastic low shot from outisde the box which Courtois done well to get done to keep it out with strong hands.

52' - Manchester United substitution: Bailly is replaced by Marcos Rojo.

46' - The referee blows his whistle to begin the second half. Game on!

Manchester United substitution: Felliani is replaced by Juan Mata.

The only positive for Mourinho to take from that first half is that he sees his side only trailing by two at half-time. Pedro and Cahill were the two goalscorers in that half which United's defence looked like they have never played together before this game. Something needs to be changed at half-time by Mourinho or else it's going to be another bad result. Stay tuned as we bring you the second half live in a few minutes time!

45+2' - The referee blows his whistle to end the first half. Chelsea 2-0 Manchester United.

45' - The referee has decided to add on two minutes at the end of the first half.

40' - David Luiz recieves a yellow card for a very bad challenge on Felliani.

29' - Bailly recieves a yellow card for a foul on Costa. The striker knew what he was doing to win that foul.

28' - Courtois makes a key double save! Firstly Herrera's long range shot was saved before the follow up from Lingard was saved again.

27' - Chelsea came very close on two separate ocassions to being 3-0 up but De Gea bailed United out with two fantastic saves. This so unlike a Mourinho team today.

22' - Goal for Chelsea! A flick on from a corner finds it's way to Cahill at back post and he powered home his shot past De Gea to give his side a massive 2-0 lead. United are all over the place so far at the back. Very poor.

14' - A training ground routine from Chelsea from a corner kick found Hazard on the edge of the box but the wingers shot went just wide of the goal with De Gea routed to the spot.

8' - Ibrahimovic should have equalised for the visitors. A fantastic cross from Valencia found the big striker at the back post but he put his header over the bar when he should have done so much better.

6' - United have responded pretty well to going a goal down by having plenty of the ball and forcing Chelsea into a few mistakes.

1' - Goal for Chelsea! Pedro has opened the scoring within 40 seconds of the game. A long ball forward found it's way to Pedro who the United defence failed to pick up and he rounded De Gea to give the hosts the perfect start.

1' - Referee Martin Atkinson blows his whistle to get the game underway. Game on!

This is a massive game for both teams as they try and keep up with the teams at the top of the table. It will be interesting to see how the Chelsea fans respond to Mourinho stepping out before the game. Also can United do the same to Chelsea that they did against Liverpool at Anfield? This will all be answered very soon. Stay tuned as we bring you the live commentary in a few minutes time!

For United, Phil Jones remains out with a knee injury he picked up in training last month. Mourinho made seven changes to his team for the game on Thursday evening so some of them are likely to return to the starting lineup after gaining some much-needed rest. After the game on Thursday, Mourinho confirmed that Chris Smalling was substituted at half-time with a muscle injury but he hoped he would be fit for the game on Sunday.

In term's of teams news ahead of the game, Conte has confirmed that John Terry is fit and available for the game after recovering from an ankle injury he picked up a few weeks ago. The Italian coach also confirmed that Kurt Zouma, who injured his knee ligaments in this fixture last season, is closing in on a return but this game is far too soon for him. Cesc Fabregas and Branislav Ivanovic are dealing with minor muscle injuries so will miss this game.

Last season's matches between the clubs finished in two draws. At Stamford Bridge, United were the better team and took the lead through a very well taken goal from Jesse Lingard. Diego Costa levelled things up in injury-time to deny United the win. It was a much better result for United this time around as they had lost the previous three meetings between the clubs at the Bridge.

On the other hand, it has been a very challenging week for Mourinho's side after their hard fought draw against Liverpool at Anfield on Monday night before they demolished Fenerbahce in the Uefa Europa League on Thursday. Therefore, with less time to rest before the game, many people would say that it is advantage Chelsea given that they have not played since last Saturday.

The Blues have moved on since Mourinho and it will be Antonio Conte's first taste of this awesome clash and going into the game his side have started to hit their best form. Back to back, clean sheets against Hull City and Leicester City show that the Italian coach's defensive tactics are starting to pay off in a good way.

This is the game of the weekend as it brings with it so much tension. The reason for this is due to the fact Jose Mourinho, who won three Premier League titles during his time in charge of the Blues, returns to Stamford Bridge for the first time since he was sacked last season. The added spice also for the game is due to the fact it is a Chelsea and United clash which down the years has been a clash that has decided many Premier League titles.
