Wrexham look to continue their impressive run of form as the Dragons host Maidenhead United at the Racecourse Ground.

A four-match unbeaten run has seen Wrexham score 14 goals in that span and they are second in the Vanarama National League and a victory could possibly see them go joint top with leaders Notts County.

Cole Kpekawa scored an 85th-minute winner as Maidenhead ended a three-match winless run with a 1-0 victory over Bromley and a second successive win could see the Magpies into the top half of the table.

Maidenhead have enjoyed success in this matchup in recent years, going six games unbeaten against Wrexham since July 2019 after the Dragons had won the first four.

Team news

Wrexham

Jacob Mendy will miss out for the Dragons as the attacker is dealing with a hamstring injury. Starting goalkeeper Christian Dibble is also sidelined as he has a knee issue.

Maidenhead United

The Magpies are also without their first-choice goalkeeper as Daniel Gyollai was sent off against Solihull Moors. Alexis Andre will make his second start having kept a clean sheet last time out.

Key players

Paul Mullin (Wrexham)

Set to appear in his 375th match with the Dragons, he scored his ninth goal of the season in a 4-0 rout of Altrincham. Starting up front with Ollie Palmer, the duo form one of the most potent attacking tandems in the whole of English football.

Cole Kpekawa (Maidenhead United)

The winner against Bromley is a good sign as the 26-year old will need to keep up that form. Playing in the midfield, he can also provide support for Charlee Adams and Alan Massey, which will also be key against the Wrexham defense.

Likely line-ups

Wrexham: Howard; McFadzean, Forde, Tozer, Hayden; Young, Jones, Davies, Tunnicliffe; Palmer, Mullin

Maidenhead United: Andre; Clerima, Acquah; De Havilland, Asare; Upward, Smith, Nathaniel-George, Kpekawa; Adams, Massey
