It is amazing how simple changes to a show can provide such a fresh outlook, but that is exactly what has happened with Monday Night Raw.

Under Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley's leadership the red brand is sitting pretty at the top of the WWE ladder and have a great foundation for the new era.

Sasha Banks and Enzo Amore have a cuppa' haters

Following a heated exchange between The Boss and The Nature Girl to kick off the show they were soon interrupted by Chris Jericho who firmly took the side of Charlotte.

Not to stand by and see a bully intimidate a pretty girl like Sasha Banks, Enzo Amore came out to defend her honor and provided the two together provided the promo of the night.

The four squared off in mixed tag-team action with Charlotte eventually picking up the pin-fall victory over the Women's Champion thanks to interference from Dana Brooke.

Y2J saw his opportunity and took it as following the match he hit The Certified G with a codebreaker but it would be a lesson he wish he did not teach.

Big Cass, enraged at the cheap shot taken on partner takes out Jericho to a huge pop from the crowd and the unlikely trio of Banks, Enzo and Cass are "Doin' fine."

Now that problem is a Big E

More tag-team action took place across the three hours as The New Day took on The Club, the former NJPW men however wanted to even the odds.

They demanded that one member of the Tag-Team Champions would be sent to the pack to make the teams more fair, with Xavier Woods the fall guy.

A pretty one sided match saw The New Day pick up a relatively quick victory, but it seemed as though their opponents had something more sinister on their mind.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson took out each member of the trio and paid special attention to Big E who had to be helped to the back and was treated for his injury.

WWE are announcing that the former NXT Champion picked up an injury in the brawl but are yet to discuss the nature of the injury.

The Roman Reigns Redemption

Following his demotion from the main event picture it seems that gold is still in the eyes of Roman Reigns as he turns his attention to Rusev and the United States Title.

Following a quick victory for the belt over Mark Henry, The Bulgarian Brute cut a promo insulting America, to which the former Shield member was not too pleased about.

Rusev was not too keen to do further battle so soon after his match and looked to flea the ring but Reigns felt he warranted some punishment.

Despite the Champion getting in a couple of early shots he was on the end of a eye watering clothesline from the former World Champion and just when it looked like he was planning a Superman punch, the recently married man vacated the ring.

Squash matches really help

Braun Strowman and Nia Jax are both going to benefit greatly from their current squash match escapade as they both look like undefeatable monsters.

The former Wyatt Family member made easy work of local jobber Evan Anderholm while the former NXT powerhouse defeated Ariel Monroe in similar fashion. No one on the roster is being harmed by these matches and it only presents these two giants as legitimate people to fear should they turn their attention on you.

One RKO is all it takes

Randy Orton has sent a message to Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman (image: youtube.com)

"You will never hit an RKO outta' nowhere." You may want to think that through again Paul Heyman as that is exactly what SmackDown Live's Randy Orton did.

The Viper, literally out of nowhere' appeared and hit a hellacious RKO onto Brock Lesnar who laid motionless on the mat, before the invader make a quick getaway out of the building.

While it is going to take more than just one sneak attack for the fans to believe that Orton could realistically defeat The Beast Incarnate they have sprinkled the seeds that are sprouting healthily.

Lesnar is not likely to take this lying down and will not look to hit his SummerSlam opponent with a taste of what Suplex City offers but he will have to be careful he does not end up on a one way ride to Viperville.
