Two teams who are struggling for form in the Premier League thus far meet on Saturday at the London Stadium, as 17th placed Wolves face 18th placed West Ham.

David Moyes & Bruno Lage will both be under immense pressure to get a positive result this weekend, as dropping points will come as a bleak awakening for one of these teams.

West Ham's season has currently been a tale of two competitions. They have been getting relative success in the Europa Conference League, however, this form has far from translated into domestic success.

The Hammers have been struggling for league form for quite some time, the results since the turn of the calendar year have been far from impressive:

Wolves have also not had a particularly impressive 2022 either, as they also struggled for form at the back-end of last season, and like West Ham, this has been carried forward into the 2022/23 Premier League season.

For both teams, it was a loss in the Premier League last time out, although David Moyes may have been the more frustrated out of the two with his side losing 1-0 at Goodison Park, whereas Bruno Lage is off the back of a likely defeat to Manchester City.

Team News:

West Ham

As it has been for multiple weeks, West Ham will be without Ben Johnson and Nayef Aguerd, with the latter yet to make his full club debut. Ben Johnson did return to training this week, which is a huge positive for the club, however, he is highly unlikely to feature this weekend.

However, the East London club was fortunate enough to not pick up any new injury concerns over the international break.

Wolves

As for the visitors, this game could mark the first start for exciting new arrival Diego Costa. The striker has been training with the first team over the international break, and will be pushing to make his first start this weekend.

Wolves will be without their usual centre-back option in Nathan Collins, as he is serving a three-match ban for a red card he received against Manchester City.

The visitors remain without Chiquinho (knee) and centre-forward Saša Kalajdžić (ACL) with long-term injuries. Meanwhile, Raul Jimenez is a worry for Bruno Lage, who's groin injury is giving him difficulty walking at this stage.

Likely Lineups

West Ham

Fabianski, Coufal, Kehrer, Zouma, Cresswell, Rice, Paqueta, Cornet, Benrahma, Bowen, Scamacca.

Wolves

Sa, Jonny, Toti, Kilman, Ait-Nouri, Neves, Nunes, Moutinho, Neto, Costa, Podence.
