Following last week's competitive goalless draw in Germany, Tottenham and Eintracht Frankfurt will come face-to-face again, in the second round of their double header.

A well-matched Group D leaves top and bottom place in the group separated by just three points, at the halfway mark.

Tottenham will look to make use of the fact that they have had to play two away games already. This means that they will only have one trip left to make - away to Marseille, after their meetings at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with Frankfurt and Sporting.

It was a contrasting domestic weekend for the two teams. A productive visit to Brighton concluded in a very important three points for tomorrow's hosts - Harry Kane's header was the only goal of Saturday's 1-0 win.

On the other hand, it was a much less successful away day for Oliver Glasner's team. They conceded three late goals away at Bochum - who had only picked up one point from their eight league games previously and fell to a shock 0-3 defeat.

Antonio Conte confirmed that even though Dejan Kulusevski returned to team training on Tuesday, he will not play a part in Wednesday's fixture.

However, Lucas Moura is now fit for a return. Conte stated that "despite having only two or three training sessions, tomorrow he is with us on the bench"

Tottenham implemented a 3-5-2 system on Saturday. However, it is expected that they will return to the 3-4-3 - utilising an additional forward player, tomorrow.

"For me against Brighton, it was really important to give a bit of rest for Richarlison, because Kulusevski and Moura weren't available". Conte's comments suggests that Richarlison should return to the team tomorrow, partnering Son Heung-min and Harry Kane, in the forward line.

Ivan Perisic, after also getting a rest on the weekend, should step into the place of Ryan Sessegnon - who also put in a solid performance against Brighton.

With a few other changes, it would not be surprising to see the same 11 that started last week's reverse fixture, to do the same tomorrow.

After an underwhelming performance against Tottenham last midweek, Randal Kolo Muani may have his place in the starting 11 under threat. Lucas Alario and Rafael Santos Borre both started in the defeat at Bochum. However, given the team's incapability to have any attacking success in that fixture, the young French forward may retain his spot.

Multiple first-team regulars were rested for the Bundesliga fixture - Daichi Kamada, Sebastian Rode, Ansgar Knauff and Makoto Hasebe. This suggest that the four should be fresh to start tomorrow.

Like Tottenham, it may be reasonable to expect an identical 11 for tomorrow, from last week's reverse fixture. However, Mario Gotze - who missed last week's meeting, due to a knock, is the most likely Frankfurt player to challenge that theory. The German international has been a crucial player for Frankfurt, since his summer move.

Buta, Jerome Onguene and Almamy Toure are Frankfurt's long-term injury absentees and will not be available for selection.

Predicted Lineups

Tottenham

(3-4-3) Lloris; Romero, Dier, Lenglet; Emerson, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Perisic; Richarlison, Son, Kane.

(3-4-3) Trapp; Tuta, Hasebe, Ndicka; Jakic, Rode, Sow, Knauff; Lindstrom, Kamada, Kolo Muani.

Surprisingly, Tottenham and England's star forward is yet to score in his 3 UCL appearances, so far this season.

That is, certainly, not a sign of any kind of poor form. Kane has managed an impressive eight goals from his nine Premier League appearances.

The 29-year-old will look to get off the mark tomorrow evening and once again prove his immense talent.

The 23-year-old Frenchmen is arguably Frankfurt's most precious property.

The immense, imposing figure of Ndicka played an important part in keeping the trio of Kane, Son and Richarlison goalless, last week.

Despite his young age, the central defender is already an experienced head in the Frankfurt backline - becoming an important figure immediately, following his 2018 move from Auxerre.

Ndicka's physicality is an important factor in their defence operating effectively, as he can make up for Hasebe's lack of it - as the 114 Japanese cap holder is now approaching his 40s.
