Tottenham will leave Frankfurt with a fairly credible 0-0 draw.

With both the visitors and Eintracht Frankfurt having a few good chances throughout the evening, it was a game which was not as much of a drab affair, as the scoreline suggests.

The result leaves both teams level on four points, in second place of Group D of the UEFA Champions League.

After Marseille's home win in the early kick-off against leaders Sporting Lisbon, top and bottom spot in the group is currently separated by just three points - leaving everything to play for in the second half of the group stage.

Here are the player ratings from Deutsche Bank Park:

Eintracht Frankfurt

Kevin Trapp - 7/10

Was rarely called into action on the night. Had to keep a Harry Kane effort out early on and did not have much to worry about for the rest of the game. Looked fairly capable with the ball at his feet.

Tuta - 7.5/10

The fact that his and Ndicka's two completed tackles and interceptions were the highest among the hosts' back three shows that they were not often called into making defensive actions. An assured performance from the young Brazilian, who found himself in forward positions fairly often, as well.

Makoto Hasebe - 8/10

The 38-year-old used his vast experience to put on a fantastic display at the heart of Frankfurt's defence. Won all five of his ground and aerial duels and was a composed presence with the ball.

Evan Ndicka - 7.5/10

An impressive physical presence - much-needed, with the older Hasebe playing alongside the big Frenchmen. Was the more defensive-minded of the two wide centre backs. A good game.

Kristijan Jakic - 7/10

Not much of a threat going forward in the wing back role. Played more like an orthodox full back, fulfilling his defensive duties to an impressive standard.

Sebastian Rode - 7/10

Had a very good chance to score, which he did not take. A decent 71 minute performance from the midfielder, his ball retention was a slight weakness, on the night.

Djibril Sow - 9/10

The standout performer of the evening. Completed four key passes - highlighting his creative ability, as well as five interceptions. A fantastic all-round performance.

Ansgar Knauff - 6/10

Started out on the left side and struggled to have any real impact when attempting to go forward. Completed just 18 of his 34 attempted passes on the evening - a disappointing output. Moved back onto his natural right wing later on in the game, where he looked more comfortable.

Jesper Lindstrom - 6/10

Wasted a good chance in the second half, his effort from just outside of the box ended up going over Lloris' crossbar. Had a fairly decent impact on the game, but could have done slightly more in terms of creativity and final product.

Daichi Kamada - 6/10

Was a respectable all-round performance, with the Japanese attacking midfielder often forced to find himself in deeper positions. Contributed fairly well defensively, but not able to have much of an impact near the visitors' goal.

Randal Kolo Muani - 5/10

A quiet evening for the young French forward. Only two completed passes in his 57 minute appearance - highlighting the issue of him being isolated from Frankfurt's play, in possession. Was a lively presence off the ball and was involved in some phyisical battles, at least.

Rafael Santos Borre (57') - 6/10

Like Kolo Muani, he was not provided with too much to feed off, from the rest of his team-mates. Did look like a more dangerous presence and a threat to Tottenham's goal, than his fellow forward.

Junior Dina Ebimbe (87') - N/A

Tottenham

Hugo Lloris - 7/10

Kept a clean sheet on the night - his most notable save came from Knauff's effort at goal in the second half. His distribution seemed a bit of a weak spot.

Cristian Romero - 7.5/10

A composed performance defensively and in possession. Maintained a 92% pass completion rate, which included a few decent long balls.

Eric Dier - 7.5/10

His incredible early long ball to Emerson almost led to the wing back opening the score. From that point on, it was a decent performance from the middle centre back. Particularly impressive on the ball - completing seven out of his nine attempted long balls.

Clement Lenglet - 7.5/10

An assured performance, before being taken over for Ben Davies in the 78th minute. A combined eight completed tackles and interceptions - the most of Spurs' back three.

Emerson Royal - 7/10

A great chance early on saw the Brazilian have his shot go over the bar and another opportunity to break the deadlock, later on in the half, was also wasted. Other than the wasted chances, it was a solid night for the wing back, after the disappointment of Saturday's derby.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg - 7/10

As ever, a hard-working performance from the midfielder. A reliable presence, which strongly contributed towards an away clean sheet.

Rodrigo Bentancur - 7/10

Like his midfield partner, a positive performance, without standing out a great deal.

Ivan Perisic - 7/10

A solid contributor both on the attacking and defensive front. Had a deflect effort go just wide of the goal, in the first half. Was taken off for Sessegnon just after the 70 minute mark.

Richarlison - 5/10

A quiet game, represented by a solitary blocked effort at goal throughout his 79 minute appearance. Provided Son and Emerson with good service on a few occasions, but not much else to remember from a quiet evening.

Heung-min Son - 6/10

Looked Tottenham's most likely attacking presence. Had three efforts at goal and provided Kane with a great opportunity early on in the game. Unusually for the South Korean, he just lacked the end-product.

Harry Kane - 5.5/10

Unable to have a real impact on the game. His usual creativity from the forward position was lacking and a few decent chances to get his name on the scoresheet were wasted in the first half. Was a very quiet second half performance.
