Solihull Moors host FC Halifax Town on Tuesday evening in the National League, with both sides keen to pick up all three points on offer.

Solihull Moors return to the league after earning a replay against League Two side Hartlepool United at the weekend, following goals from Andrew Dallas and Joe Sbarra

Meanwhile, FC Halifax Town return to league action after crashing out of the FA Cup at the weekend, after losing to National League South side Ebbsfleet United

There are no fresh injury concerns for the home side ahead of Tuesday’s National League match. The clubs only absentee is defender Callum Howe who’s currently missing with an ongoing knee injury.

Scotsman Andrew Dallas returned to the starting line-up at the weekend, and following his goal, he is likely to retain his place in the starting eleven. Ryan Boot also kept his place in goal and that is unlikely to change.

  • Form guides

Solihull Moors

The home side have lost just once in their last six matches in all competitions, which was a narrow defeat against Yeovil Town. Despite being unbeaten in five, Neal Ardley’s men have drew their last three matches and he will be keen to turn those draws into victories as soon as possible.

FC Halifax Town

Elsewhere, FC Halifax Town have picked up three wins in their last five National League matches, including a narrow victory against Oldham Athletic. However, having crashed out of the FA Cup at the weekend, they will be desperate to bounce back and return to winning ways as soon as possible.

  • Players To Watch

Joe Sbarra (Solihull Moors)

Fresh off the back of his important late equaliser against Hartlepool United at the weekend, playmaker Joe Sbarra will be desperate to add to his tally and continue his excellent start to the season.

To date, Sbarra has scored five goals this season as well as picking up an assist in the process. He is a player that loves to run at the opposition and consistently looks to make thing’s happen whenever he is on the ball. Therefore, the visitors have to be at the top of their game otherwise it could be a very challenging evening.

Emmanuel Dieseruvwe (FC Halifax Town)

Despite crashing out of the FA Cup without a goal, striker Emmanuel Dieseruvwe has been in great form in the league for FC Halifax Town, and he could be the difference in helping them return to winning ways.

Dieseruvwe has scored in each of his last four National League matches and has seven league goals to his name so far this season. He is a very physical striker, who will constantly battle and prove to be a tough cookie to crack for the Solihull Moors defence. If he isn’t stopped, the away side will have an excellent opportunity of winning the game.
