Barrow 3-2 Bradford City

Barrow made it two wins from two to kick-start the new campaign following a dramatic last-minute winner against Bradford City at Holker Street.

Following a goalless first 45, Ben Whitfield broke the deadlock just past the hour mark for Pete Wild's bluebirds, only for Luke Young to equalise for the Bantams two minutes later.

Barrow restored their lead with five minutes left to play as Whitfield's corner was eventually scrambled home by Josh Kay from close range.

Bradford thought they snatched a point right at the death thanks to Andy Cook but one minute later, Whitfield's cross was met by Josh Gordon to ensure Barrow continue their 100% record to start the season.

Colchester United 1-1 Carlisle United

Colchester United and Carlisle United had to share the spoils after playing out an entertaining 1-1 draw at the JobServe Community Stadium.

Colchester took the lead in the 19th minute as a ball from Luke Hannant found Noah Chilvers on the edge of the box who fired the ball home into the far corner.

The away side eventually found an equaliser just before half-time, as an excellent cross from Owen Moxon found the head of Kristian Dennis, who glanced it home to make sure the Cumbrians went home with a point.

Crawley Town 0-1 Leyton Orient

Leyton Orient continued their 100% start to the new League Two season following victory over Crawley Town at The Broadfield Stadium.

Full-back Tom James was the match-winner five minutes after the break, as the home side only half-cleared a corner which dropped to James, who unleashed an unstoppable shot from the edge of the area.

James' goal, his second of the season following on from a screamer against Grimsby Town last week, was enough to give Richie Wellens' side back-to-back wins to start the campaign.

Crewe Alexandra 3-0 Harrogate Town

Crewe Alexandra continued their fine start to the new season with a comfortable victory over Harrogate Town at The Mornflake Stadium.

The Railwaymen found themselves two goals up on the stroke of half-time, with two set-piece strikes tucked away by Dan Agyei and Kelvin Mellor giving the home side the advantage at the break.

The points were made safe with 13 minutes left to go for Alex Morris' side as substitute Courtney Baker-Richardson followed up his initial effort, which was parried away by Harrogate goalkeeper Peter Jameson, and slotted into the corner of the net.

Doncaster Rovers 2-1 Sutton United

Doncaster Rovers scored twice in second-half stoppage time to shock visitors Sutton United, who looked on course for victory at the Eco-Power Stadium

Striker Donovan Wilson gave Matt Gray's side an early advantage as he hammered home, following on from Louis John's attempt from Rob Milsom's free-kick which hit the post.

It looked like Sutton were going to hold on for their first victory of the season but in stoppage time, Doncaster thought they rescued it from a header from George Miller following a cross from Tommy Rowe.

Two minutes later, one point turned to three for Rovers as Miller's flick on from a ball from Adam Clayton found Kieran Agard, who made no mistake to stun the away side with a last-minute winner.

Gillingham 1-0 Rochdale

Gillingham picked up their first win of the season following a deserved 1-0 victory over Rochdale at The Priestfield Stadium

Two of Neil Harris' summer signings combined for the only goal of the game, as an unmarked Scott Kashket connected with Will Wright's free-kick to head home after just nine minutes on the clock.

The goal from Kashket was enough to give the Gills all three points over Robbie Stockdale's winless Rochdale side, whose best chance came when on-loan goalkeeper Glenn Morris prevented midfielder Toumani Diagouraga from scoring a quick-fire equaliser with a looping header.

Substitute Jordan Maguire-Drew's late equaliser ensured Grimsby Town claimed a deserved point against Northampton Town at Blundell Park in their first home game back in the EFL.

Cobblers winger Sam Hoskins, who scored his third goal in two games, gave Jon Brady's side the advantage with 15 minutes to play with a clean right-footed strike, beating goalkeeper Max Crocombe at the far post.

With five minutes left to play, Grimsby boss Paul Hurst brought on winger Maguire-Drew to try and salvage something for the Mariners and with two minutes to go, he did just that by tapping home into an open net following a good save from Lee Burge to deny Stephen Wearne.

The equaliser from Maguire-Drew gave Grimsby their first point since returning to the Football League after a year away.

Hartlepool United 0-0 AFC Wimbledon

Hartlepool United picked their first point of the season following a goalless draw against AFC Wimbledon at Victoria Park

Following a relatively dull first-half affair, Hartlepool's best chances came on the hour when Jake Hastie's cross caused chaos, was cleared and from the corner, goalkeeper Nik Tzanev made two agile saves from close range.

The result was a much better one for manager Paul Hartley following on from their 4-0 opening day drubbing at Walsall.

Mansfield Town 1-0 Tranmere Rovers

Mansfield Town picked up their first win of the season following a hard-fought victory over Tranmere Rovers at the One Call Stadium.

The winning goal for the Stags came on the hour mark, as Riley Harbottle headed the ball home following a corner that was delivered by Hiram Boateng.

The win for Nigel Clough's men gets them up and running for the season and by putting aside the defeat to Port Vale in last season's playoff final. As for Micky Mellon's Tranmere side, they're still yet to pick up a point so far this term.

Newport County 0-1 Walsall

Michael Flynn made a winning return against his old side as Walsall claimed a narrow victory at Rodney Parade.

Newport had an Aaron Wildig header ruled out for offside in the first half but it was the Saddlers who took the lead just after the hour mark, as Mickey Demetriou turned the ball into his own net after goalkeeper Nick Townsend saved an initial header.

Walsall was reduced to ten men with five minutes remaining as Taylor Allen was shown a second yellow card but Mike Flynn's side managed to hold on to take their place at the top of the table.

Stevenage 2-1 Stockport County

Stockport County's wait for a first point back in the EFL goes on following a late defeat to Stevenage at the Lamex Stadium.

Last season's National League champions broke the deadlock just before the hour in a cagey affair as summer signing Callum Camps gave them the advantage.

But with two minutes to go of regular time, the hosts were given a penalty as Ash Palmer was judged to have fouled Saxon Earley inside the box, with the defender receiving his second yellow card as a result.

Luke Norris sent goalkeeper Ben Hinchliffe the wrong way from the spot but it was to get better for Steve Evans' side, with Earley finding Jamie Reid to tap home the winner deep into stoppage time to keep up Stevenage's fine start to the season.

Swindon Town 0-0 Salford City

Swindon Town picked up their first point of the season as they played out a goalless draw against Salford City at The County Ground.

The Robins were forced to play the second half with ten men, as forward Harry McKirdy was shown a second yellow card for a strong challenge inside the Salford half, having been booked for complaining to the referee earlier on.

Despite the extra man advantage, Salford were unable to make it count as they returned home with a point, following on from their opening day win over Mansfield
