Queens Park Rangers could be set to add Albert Adomah to their ranks from Middlesbrough ,ahead of the transfer deadline.

The Riverside club received a transfer request from their winger late last week after Aitor Karanka left him out of their squad a fortnight ago, and continued to leave the winger out of his first team plans - most recently against Sheffield United, where 'Boro came out victorious.

Rangers, who are desperate to land the  winger, could be about to spend over £4million for the services of Adomah, however the deal is still not complete, with the manager of the northern club claiming the Ghanaian winger still has a future at the club.

Adomah was rumoured to be included in a deal to attain Nottingham Forest's Michail Antonio, but it seems as though the Loftus Road club have moved a step ahead in the pursuit of the winger.

Dramatic ending for QPR

It will be a busy final 24 hours for the London club as they look to wrap up the deal to see Adomah join them, but they may also have to work on a deal to move on their own forward, Charlie Austin, who is the subject of interest from a host of Premier League sides. They may also add a few more signatures in the shape of Liverpool defender Tiago Ilori, and a possible Austin replacement may also be on the agenda for Rangers.

Middlesbrough all done

Middlesbrough and Karanka have seemingly completed their business ahead of the long awaited deadline day, with Fernando Amorebieta the latest name to come to the club. They have also been joined by AC Milan 'keeper  Michael Agazzi, who has come to England on a season long loan. Karank's big money deal came in the form of Stewart Downing, who swapped the Premier League life in London with West Ham, for the Championship experience with his hometown team.
