Chelsea's second choice goalkeeper Petr Cech has been offered to Queens Park Rangers on transfer deadline day as they look to treat their legendary keeper with respect.

Chelsea are believed to not want to sell him to a local rival in the Premier League but with Cech wanting to remain in London, Jose Mourinho has offered the 32 year old to Harry Redknapp's QPR.

Cech has lost his place in Chelsea's starting line up for the first time since his arrival in 2004 as young keeper Thiabaut Courtois took the number one spot on his return from a loan at Spanish Champions, Atletico Madrid.

QPR recently signed 24-year-old keeper Alex McCarthy for £6 million from Reading so Redknapp's side may not want to splash further cash on a goalkeeper. Robert Green remains first choice but Cech would easily push him onto the bench should the Rangers choose to take Chelsea up on the offer after they let Brazilian keeper Julio Cesar go this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain remain interested in Cech and want to test his resolve in staying in England by attempting to get him on loan to comply wih financial fair play regulations. The French Champions see him as the perfect keeper to guide them to Champions League glory.
