QPR hoping to get off the bottom when they host recent strugglers Aston Villa on Monday night.

The pressure is mounting on Harry Redknapp at QPR as his side continue to struggle on their return to the Premier League. Despite putting in a great performance at home to Liverpool last week, the Hoops were completely out of look as they conceded two own goals late on to eventually lose the match 3-2.

The bottom line though is just four points from nine games and that's relegation form. Redknapp you feel is one of a few managers in the League who does not know what his strongest starting line up is and this far into the season that is a big issue after a big spending summer.

The impact of Eduardo Vargas off the bench was the major highlight from last week as he scored both goals  and needs to be given a chance from the start against Villa you feel if QPR are to get a second win.The manager's views on Adel Taarabt's wait have controlled the build up to this game however and you would not bet on him featuring Monday.

There is a similar sinking feeling with visitors Aston Villa heading into this one. After a great start where they picked up 10 points from their first four games, which included a win at Anfield, they have lost four straight all be it against Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Everton.

It's more the fact they haven't really competed in them defeats, which will bother Paul Lambert and the fans. The return from long term injury of striker Christian Benteke was the one positive from last week and surely with him in the side they can only improve.

Villa currently sit 15th just two points above the relegation zone, however a win would take them into the top half and with their attacking talent they could be too much for QPR in the capital.

Team news

Adel Taraabt will not play due to illness and not the bust up with his manager.

Sandro and Nedum Onuoh are highly doubtful while goalkeeper Robert Green should return after illness kept him out last week.

Phillipe Senderos is the only doubt for Villa with a thigh injury
