Chelsea will receive their Barclays Premier League trophy at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, while Sunderland will be just clear of relegation after battling their way out the past two seasons. This is the fourth league trophy for Chelsea besides their league triumph back in the old First Division.

Eden Hazard recently was awarded Barclays Premier League Player of the Year while Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, was awarded Barclays Premier League Manager of the Year. Chelsea, who under Mourinho were striving to reach the 90 point mark by the end of the season, may only finish now with 87 points if they defeat Sunderland.

Sunderland began the surge to end Chelsea's title chances last season and were delighted to draw 0-0 against third place Arsenal this past week, who had been a serious title contender for much of the season.

Sunderland manager Dick Advocaat will sit uncomfortably as his job security is questionable, as his reaction to the draw against Arsenal saw tears fall from his eyes. However, Sunderland may also see their close rivals Newcastle United relegated back to the SkyBet Championship, which could be cause for celebration in the Sunderland end.

Manager Qoutes (PremierLeague.com):

Jose Mourinho:

"The trophy object means less than the feeling," he said. “For me the feeling was Crystal Palace.

"I understand people need time to organise things and the ceremony needs time. But the reality is for me when you do it."

Jose Mourinho also claimed that Diego Costa will play, along with youth squad players Andreas Christensen and Jeremie Boga who are said to possibly feature.

Dick Advocaat:

"I was not intending to do it [cry],” he said, adding that his assistant was to blame. “It was Bert [van Lingen]'s fault.
