Burnley forward Danny Ings still unsure as to where he will be playing football next season as his contract will run out at Turf Moor next month.

Liverpool have been hot favourites to sign the Under-21 international and with Burnley playing Championship football next year after their relegation, it is almost certain that Ings will be playing his football in the Premiership.

It is clear to see that Liverpool lack a goalscoring striker with Daniel Sturridge only making 12 league appearances in an injury hit season.

Rickie Lambert has only managed three goals in all competitions and Mario Balotelli has only scored four times for Liverpool this season.

The Reds have only scored 52 goals all season, which was an incredible 49 short of last seasons 101 goals that were scored in the league.

However, the Reds are not the only team interested in the forward. Tottenham Hotspur and Real Sociedad are also amongst the clubs fighting for his signature.

"My holiday's the first thing on my mind. I'm looking forward to a bit of downtime and after that it's going to be hard work again."

Ings scored the only goal of the game in last weekend's 1-0 victory away to Aston Villa, but the Clarets' were already relegated before the game.

The England international is still unsure what next season will hold claiming that his future is 'all up in the air.'

He joined Burnley in 2011 from Championship winners Bournmouth and was one of the main reasons why Burnley were promoted in 2014 after scoring 21 goals in 40 league appearances.

Despite starting the season slow, Ings finished the season strong scoring 11 goals in the league and showing why he can be one for the future.
