Ivan Gazidis is the current chief executive at Arsenal and he has overseen some huge changes as Gunners chief executive. Ivan has developed Arsenal Football Club within the football community and international commercial markets. He sits on the European Club Association (ECA) Executive Board, which represents the interests of Europe’s leading 207 teams. He is chairman of the Legal Advisory Panel for the ECA, and is a member of FIFA’s Dispute Resolution Chamber.

Ivan contributes to the domestic game’s development as a member of the Professional Game Board (PGB), FA Council and the Premier League Working Group for Elite Player Performance. He also serves as the Chairman of the FA's International Committee. Gazidis replaced David Dein in 2009 with Ivan and Arsene Wenger having to deal with the monetary issues over the move from the former home of Highbury to the new Emirates Stadium. As a result of the move it has led to Wenger's "Socialist Structure" when it came to players wages.

However, 49-year-old Ivan Gazidis has profited from Wenger’s faux-socialism too, raking in a £675k bonus on top of his £1.36m annual salary for overseeing another trophy-less season at the north London club and selling off prized assets to domestic and foreign rivals. This has upset many fans as they have not seen many big name signings over the last few season.

Times are beginning to change for the North London club as they have settled their debt from the move and can now put money back into making this club a great club that can win trophies. Gazidis had overseen eight trophyless seasons before last season and this had fans begging the Arsenal board to bring back David Dein. Surely with the signings of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez this shows the Arsenal faithful he is fully committed to change to fortunes of this great London club.

Gazidis has also promised that Arsenal will make more huge signings over the next few seasons. He also masterminded the deal with Puma to create even more revenue for bringing in huge names so whether Arsenal fans like him or not Ivan Gazidis is starting to prove his worth for the North London giants.
