The magic of the FA Cup was certainly showcased this weekend. Championship side Middlesborough beat Premier League champions Manchester City 2-0, Leicester City's Jeff Schlupp scored an injury-time winner to dispose of Tottenham Hotspur, and League One's Bradford City produced the surprise of the round after beating Chelsea 4-2 at Stamford Bridge. Elsewhere, League Two's Cambridge City and Championship outfit Bolton Wanderers held Manchester United and Liverpool. So, Arsenal had to be extra switched on to prevent a shock result at Brighton and Hove Albion. Although they were made to sweat in the second half, Arsenal won the game 3-2; with goals from Theo Walcott, Mesut Özil and Tomas Rosicky. And it was the Czech midfielder who really stood out among the Arsenal performances.

Unlike the last couple of weeks, Arsenal's Star Man of the Week has been difficult to decide upon, but Tomas Rosicky definitely deserves it this time round. The 34-year-old, dubbed "the Little Mozart" by fans, played with the dynamism of a player half his age and was the creative hub for the Gunners. He was simply brilliant, and is certainly playing his best football for Arsenal this season. The ever-reliable Arsenal man was involved in two of the goals. On the 24th minute, Tomas Rosicky was gifted too much space by the Brighton defence and played in Özil, who finished expertly. In the second half, Rosicky got a goal of his own and what a goal it was. After receiving the ball, Rosicky played a cheeky "look one way, pass another" ball into Olivier Giroud. The Frenchman then played a delightfully chipped ball back to Rosicky on the edge of the box, who smashed a volley past David Stockdale. He should have had another assist at the death when he played a great ball to Ramsey, but the Welshman fluffed his lines, unfortunately.

When asked to comment on Rosicky after the game, Arsene Wenger said: "He was wonderful. He's a player we all love. If you love football, you love Rosicky". If Arsenal are to regain the FA Cup again this year, the quality and experience of Tomas Rosicky may come in handy.
