Arsenal will be looking for a clean sheet, literally and metaphorically, as they look to put their Champions League defeat to Monaco behind them.

Last campaigns fixture against Everton provided a thrilling match in which the Toffees managed to snatch a point against their Premier League rivals in the dying moments of the game.

This season, things are very different 

Arsenal will be looking to extend their position in the top three and will be looking up at Manchester City, if their valiant players quotes this week are anything to go by.

In contrast, Merseyside based Everton are peering over their shoulders, as six points separate Roberto Martinez’s side from the relegation zone.

Decisions, decisions

However, Arsène Wenger will rue the absence of Jack Wilshere, who has had minor surgery on his niggling ankle problem, while Arteta, Debuchy, Ramsey, Diaby and Flamini remain out of the running for first-team football.

The Gunners will be boosted with not losing any of their players from the midweek clash, but the boss says that rotation is key in the upcoming week.

Wenger claimed that he has, “not made any decision yet for Sunday’s game. We will have to rotate a little bit, because we play Sunday and Wednesday. There will certainly be some changes.”

Comeback Kids

The Frenchman believes that the Gunners, “have come back in a great position in the league and (they) want to stabilise that position.”

He is aware that, “home form in the league will be very important to decide that,” and maintains that his side will, “take this opportunity to make (their) position even stronger.”

Predicted line-up:

Ospina; Bellerin, Koscielny, Gabriel, Monreal; Coquelin, Cazorla, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Walcott, Alexis, Giroud

Fans have suggested that David Ospina will be replaced, while it is widely thought that Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are due a run in the first-team yet again.
