Joe Cole believes that if Aston Villa can replicate the performance they managed to produce against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, they have a great chance of winning the FA Cup final against Arsenal on May the 30th.
Cole was brought on as a second-half substitute for Tim Sherwood's men in their 2-1 semi-final victory against Brendan Rodgers' men at Wembley, and although the Gunners are the favourites to retain their FA Cup crown, Cole has stated the Villains can spoil Arséne Wenger's party.
He said: "It's a tough game and they've been brilliant. They're a top side and [Arséne] Wenger's really turned it around for them. They want to put another bit of silverware on the table. It's going to be tough, no doubt, but if we play like we did [against Liverpool] and last week [1-0 win over Tottenham] then we'll be all right."
