Real Sociedad sporting director, Loren, has said that he is confident of signing Arsenal winger Joel Campbell. Campbell was reported to be in talks with the Basque side in January before moving to Villarreal on loan as part of Gabriel Paulista's move to Arsenal

David Moyes' side are now looking for an attacking player after they missed out on signing Danny Ings from Burnley, who will move to Liverpool this summer. Sociedad have been looking for a top attacking player since they lost Antoine Greizzmen to Spanish rivals Atletico Madrid last summer.

Sociedad's sporting director Loren says that the Txuriurdin "have an interest" in the 22-year-old at that former Everton boss is also keen on the player. The director also stated that the winger has "expressed his desire" to join that club, and that the backroom staff "have to find to find the formula to make it financially possible".

Joel Campbell joined Arsenal in 2011 and spent his first three seasons out on loan; first at Lorient, then at Real Betis and finally at Olympiakos, where he scored in the Champions League against Manchester United. After a successful World Cup with Costa Rica, where he scored once and helped his team get to the quarter-finals, he returned to North London. He made 10 appearances overall for Arsenal at the beginning of this season, before making 20 appearances on loan at Villarreal.

Campbell, who renewed his Arsenal contract in January, has been subject to speculation about his future since returning to the Emirates, after getting little playing time.

He has also been linked with a move to Turkey, with Istanbul giants Galatasaray and Fenerbache reportedly being interested. The Daily Express are reporting that Fenerbache have agreed a deal with Arsenal for Campbell, with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger having links to the Fenerbache sporting director. There is no mention of what price a deal to lure Campbell away from Arsenal what cost, but he is estimated to be worth about £6 million.
