Chelsea 33-year old striker Samuel Eto'o has been sidelined for two weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in the club's 6-0 thrasing against Arsenal. The striker opened the scoring with a goal in the 4th minute of the game before he was replaced by Fernando Torres due to his injury.

Eto'o will miss next weekend's trip to Crystal Palace and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes he could be ready before their Champions League clash with PSG. He also thought Eto'o's replacement Fernando Torres perfomed well in the remainder of the game against Arsenal.

Hopefully it's not so big. Hopefully it's not a one-month injury, it's 10 to 15 days. Fernando (Torres), without scoring a goal, had a very good performance with great movement for the team.

Chelsea kept their lead at the top of the table after their 6-0 demolishing of Arsenal at Stamford Bridge with goals from Eto'o, Schurrle, Oscar x2, Hazard, and Salah. They are 4 points ahead of 2nd place Liverpool (who have a game in hand).

The Cameroonian striker scored 11 goals in all competitions with all of them coming at Stamford Bridge. He joined Chelsea from Anzhi in the summer and reunited with his former coach Jose Mourinho who managed him at Inter Milan.
