Stamford Bridge tomorrow, plays host to its first competitive game of the season as Chelsea open their home Premier League campaign against newcomers Leicester City. The Blues looked brilliant against Burnley with their first game and will be looking to continue in that vain against a Leicester side also motivated after holding Everton to a draw. Last season, this was a match that Chelsea's fans would have felt may not have been a formality because of Chelsea's struggles against the "smaller" sides. But this season, If the Burnley match is anything to go by, that is all behind them. The addition of Fabregas and Costa to the team has increase the range of ways Chelsea can hurt such teams.

Kick Off: 22/8/14, 3pm

Referee: Lee Mason

Chelsea Team News:

It's a clean bill of health for Chelsea with no players missing through injury. It's highly probable that Jose Mourinho will go with the same starting 11 that went out on Monday night. But the availability of Felipe Luis casts some doubt over who starts at full back as if the Brazilian starts, Mourinho will have to choose between Ivanovic or Azpilicueta to play at left back. Cesc Fabregas and Costa are on hand to make their home debut's and will be hoping to carry on with the form they left Turf Moor with.

Courtois is also making his first competitive home appearance and Mourinho will be hoping that he will have the eventless game he had against Burnley. Whether Andre Schurrle starts is another thing in doubt because while he was brilliant on monday, Willian could be prefferred. A special mention has to be made to returning legend Dider Drogba, he will probably be involved at some point.

Leicester Team News:

James Vardy and Marc Albrighton may be available tomorrow, but the game comes too soon for Danny Drinkwater and Matty James who are out with hamstring and shin injuries. New signing Mathew Upson is still a couple of weeks from returning with a foot injury.
