Jackson Martinez is attracting interest from clubs in Europe including AC Milan, Inter Milan, Arsenal and Chelsea.

He joined Porto in 2012 for around £10 million and has firmly established himself as a key player at the club, if not the main man in the twenty seven time Primera Liga winning side.

This season he has scored 21 goals in 29 appearances for the Portuguese side. His biggest goal came in his side's 3-1 first leg victory over Bayern Munich. They did go on to be eliminated from the tournament after a hugely humiliating 6-1 loss in the second leg but Martinez was the man to score Porto's only goal in the game.

Jackson Martinez targeted by AC Milan

The goal scorer is likely to cost around 30 million but Porto will be reluctant to let him go. AC Milan are the favourites to get him however Chelsea are now being linked with him alongside his international teammate Radamel Falcao.

He has also been linked with other major clubs in Europe such as Arsenal, Manchester United and favourites AC Milan. According to Sky Bet AC Milan are 1/2 on to sign him while newly interested Chelsea are currently at 20/1. It has been expected that his future won't be decided until he returns from international duty with Colombia.

Chelsea looking for Martinez summer deal

Jackson Martinez played a part in Colombia's 2014 World Cup campaign however it was small one because he was only a substitute in their opening group game and started their final game scoring twice against Japan.

After this he burst onto the transfer scene alerting top clubs around Europe but all teams missed out on him in the summer transfer window last year, with Arsenal and Arsene Wenger known to be leading the chase. It was also rumoured that Real Madrid had a bid rejected however they were unconfirmed reports.
