Liverpool could be prepared to battle Arsenal and Chelsea to sign Spartak Moscow midfielder Romulo as replacement for the injured Lucas Leiva
Reports in Russia suggest Liverpool have bid £7m for the 23-year-old with Spartak holding out for £10m.
However, Brendan Rodgers has distanced himself from the speculation in Russia.
A Brazilian international, Romulo joined Spartak Moscow in 2012 after joining from Vasco da Gama.
