Liverpool are currently just four wins from claiming the coveted Premier League trophy, which they haven't done for 24 years.

Liverpool currently are first in the league, accumulating 77 points after 34 games. The Reds took a massive stride towards winning the League after their pulsating 3-2 over title rivals Man City on Sunday. A week on Saturday they will again compete against one of their title pursuers, this time coming in the form of Chelsea. Luis Suarez though has urged fans to "stay calm" during their title run in. The mercurial genius is staying grounded during their pursuit of the title.

“It’s normal for the supporters to get excited and be discussing our chances,” Suarez said on Liverpool's official site.

“When I’m out shopping or out with my family I bump into fans who mention it to me. I’ve told them to stay calm and not to worry. We’ll be trying our best.

“For the players it’s probably best if we don’t get involved in that kind of talk.

The controversial Uruguayan has been the catalyst in the Liverpool engine with his amazing 29 goals in this season. He is though attempting to stay out the media spotlight and ultimately focus on the Premier League, as it meets it pinnacle end.

Suarez has also said that manger, Brendan Rodgers, has played a massive role during their impressive season. The Northern Irish man has completely rejuvenated the side and has steadied the ship drastically. Last season Liverpool finished in a rather disapponting seventh.

“It’s very important to see the manager relaxed,” he said.

“Brendan gives all of us confidence because he’s good at his job.

“He believes in all of the squad and when you have that belief from your boss then it’s easier to perform at your best.”
