Joe Allen is relishing the opportunity to experience a trip across the Atlantic with Liverpool, as `The Reds` go on tour of the US this week, with a squad of 32 players, including the likes of Gerrard, and Sturridge, landing in Boston today, before training on the famous Fenway ground and also facing Roma in a mouthwatering encounter during the week, before jetting off to explore other Cities across the nation including Chicago.
"I'm really looking forward to it," the Welshman told LFCTour.com. "I signed just after the tour two years ago, so I missed out on that one. I've been waiting for this one to come around.
"They are all great cities, to be fair. I've been to New York once before. So, I think Boston - my parents have been there and said it's a really nice city.
"Obviously I'm looking forward to going to Fenway Park as well, I've heard a lot about it and the baseball team is pretty famous.
"I had a chance to look a game at the Yankee Stadium before, so I know what it's like and what the atmosphere is like. I'm sure that will be a great game to be involved in.
"There are some tough teams that we're coming up against; it should be a great test for us with the start of the season coming around."
