According to numerous reports in Spain, as well as Sky Sports, Liverpool are set to take Spanish youngster, Isco, on-loan from Real Madrid, for one season, with the Spanish side closing in on a deal to see James Rodriguez join the Champions League holders.

According to reports, Liverpool have made an enquiry about the availability of Isco, and with Liverpool still in the market for a potential Suarez replacement, Isco could just be the perfect alternative.

Although Isco doesn`t play in the same position as the Uruguayan, Suarez, Liverpool are now lacking a household and world class name, and with Isco seemingly available, Brendan Rodgers and co may be mad to pass on such a well known playmaker.

Liverpool have already spent a hefty chunk of money this summer, with Lallana and Markovic costing a combined £40 million, and with Loic Remy and Lovren both set to join this week, adding to the purchases of Can and Lambert, Liverpool are undoubtedly eager to do plenty of business this summer.

Isco arrived at Real Madrid last summer, following a high-profiled exit from Malaga, although the promising Spaniard is recognised as one of the most talented youngsters in Spain, he couldn`t force himself into the starting 11 in Madrid.
