Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is open to a switch to Manchester United in the summer according to reports.

Their current goalkeeper David De Gea has been heavily linked with a move to European champions Real Madrid and if he was to move Louis Van Gaal could make a move for the French international in a move which would cost around £40million.

Reports suggest that the 28-year-old wants to play consistent Champions League football, something that Tottenham can’t currently provide and has apparently made initial contact with the 13-time Premier League champions.

Lloris has been one of Spurs top performers since his switch from Lyon in 2012 and has kept six clean sheets so far this season making 79 saves in his 31 appearances.

Lloris isnt the only keeper that United have been linked with this week, Chelsea’s Petr Cech has been linked with a move north after he has falling down the pecking order behind Thibaut Courtois.
