Over the weekend reports broke in the media saying Van Persie had agreed terms to sign for Fenerbache this summer, but Van Persie's agent has played down the speculation that his client is close to leaving Manchester United.

Van Persie will back in Manchester United training on Monday

Van Persie is now back in Chesire as he gets ready to return to pre season training with United on Monday morning amid the reports he's signing for Fenerbache in a four year deal. Kees Voss had a few things to say on these reports about his client and seemed shocked.

Van Persie's representative, Kees Voss told Voetbal international about whether his client was going to leave United and he replied "if Robin had found a new club, we would have announced it", as reports had suggested there was an agreement to join Feberbache but Kees Voss said that's not true because "I'm in the Netherlands right now."

Kees Voss went onto to say Van Persie "will be at Manchester on Monday for the first training session", putting to bed that he wouldn't be there.

Numerous clubs have been linked with a move for Van Persie

There have been numerous reports that Van Persie could leave United if he is not first choice with a number of clubs rumoured to be interested in signing him. Van Persie has one year left on his current United contract and it's unlikely he will be offered a new one.

Van Persie wants to make sure that he will play regularly ahead of Euro 2016 next summer in France, so may have to end up looking for a new club in order to make sure of this.

Van Persie gave United fans great memories during the 20th title success

Van Persie joined United from Arsenal in 2012 for £24million and helped them to their 20th Premier League title and for this he will always be fondly remembered from United fans for the memory.

Many think it is time to let Van Persie go but it's very sad as he was one of United's best strikers in modern history in his first season, but he isn't guaranteed to be a starter anymore and at 31 he should look for a club elsewhere and will always remain a fans favourite.
